Syllaby alternative: VidNexus
Syllaby combines idea research, AI scripts, faceless and avatar videos and bulk scheduling on a content calendar. It runs on the web and has iOS and Android apps. It is mostly used for short vertical videos, though it advertises unlimited video length.
Our maths from Syllaby's credit costs: 125 minutes at 13 credits is 1,625 credits, plus 125 for AI scripts and about 25 for thumbnails, so about 1,775. Standard's 1,500 is not enough. If each video runs a little over 5 minutes, rounding takes the video credits alone to 1,950.
$1,499 once. The license is unmetered: the only running cost is your own voice plan, ElevenLabs or the cheaper ai33.pro (125 minutes of narration is about 95,000 characters), or $0 if you record and upload your own voiceover.
- Faceless video costs 13 credits a minute, rounded up to whole minutes, so a 5:13 video is charged as 6 minutes.
- 125 minutes a month comes to about 1,775 credits with scripts and thumbnails, which needs Premium at $153 a month.
