Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the VidNexus Terms of Service. It applies to everything you make with VidNexus, including the optional features that generate images or video from a text prompt: AI thumbnails (through Pikzels) and cinematic shots (through Higgsfield), both on your own account with that service.
1. What you may not create
You may not use VidNexus to create, or to try to create:
- Sexual, pornographic or sexually suggestive content of anyone, real or fictional, including nudity.
- Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors, or content that sexualises minors in any way. We report it to the authorities.
- Deepfakes or face swaps, or images or video showing a real, identifiable person doing or saying something they didn't, or in a way that could mislead viewers about them.
- Content that promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, self-harm or cruelty to people or animals, or gory or shocking imagery made to disturb.
- Hate speech or content that attacks or demeans people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Harassment, threats, bullying or content that exposes someone's private information.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, impersonates a person or brand, or is made to defraud, scam or spread deliberate disinformation.
- Content that breaks the law where you live or where it is published.
2. How prompts are checked
Before a prompt is sent to an image or video generator, VidNexus sends its text to our content check (run by our payment provider's moderation service). A prompt that doesn't pass is not sent, and the app tells you to change it. Only the prompt text and your license reference are sent for this check; nothing you make is uploaded. The generators also apply their own content rules.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you create and publish with VidNexus, and for following the terms of the services you connect (ElevenLabs, Pikzels, Higgsfield, YouTube and others). Don't try to get around the content check, for example by splitting or disguising a prompt.
4. If the rules are broken
We may suspend or end the license of anyone who breaks this policy, without refund, and report illegal content to the authorities. To report misuse, email support@vidnexus.app.
